Hi,
I recently just got a sophos utm 120. I have it setup and working for the most part.
We have 3 networks running on it.
1. Main network VLAN
2. Public Wifi VLAN
3.Tenant Network
Network 1. DNS is provided by a windows 2008 R2 Server.
Network 2 is provided by Sophos dns services
Network 3 is provided by sophos dns services.
None of the networks cans see each other.
We have a small group of uses who VPN into network 1. Most of the time from laptops but a few of them use IPads and devices like that.
Remote SSL is setup and connect to laptops and browse resources correctly.
Cisco is setup and the ipads connect just fine. I can ping them from network 1 and data is sent and received fine.I can ping from IPad to the DNS name of the server.
When I open any kind of file browsing app I can't see the server. It gives the error Connection failed with the error: Socket timeout
I'm guessing something is blocking access to the server for that protocols. In the firewall settings I'm allowing all connections in the Cisco Vpn with authenticated uses access to network 1 on any service.
Help please.
