OpenVPN?

Does Sophos have any plans of implementing OpenVPN into UTM?
Having an option to setup the UTM as either a server or VPN client would definitely be a nice feature.

    Over the last 7 years, there have been several members here that were successful in setting up a connection like this.  You can google on site:astaro.org openvpn apc ovpn - I don't recall anything within the last year.

    I read the posts on this topic and I'm aware that several people apparently got it working, although as you pointed out, none recently. Others, like myself, tried and gave up. Since the script was written, the format of the config file has changed. I spent quite a while trying to get the script working and even used a hex editor to manually edit a config file. I got the point where UTM would accept a manually edited config file, but the VPN would not start. Maybe someone smarter than I am would be able to get it working, but I gave up.

    People have been consistently asking for this feature (not specifically simply to convert ovpn files into apc files, but to support UTM operating as an OpenVPN client, like a proxy). I wish Sophos would do it because I'm sure they could do it better and more quickly than anyone else could. Currently, I'm looking at some Linux distros and other Linux routers that I can run on another guest on the hyper-v server. Kind of a brute force approach, but I'm not sure how else to do it.
