SSL-VPN -> VPN-Pool just for the UTM ?

Hello together.

I use a SSL-VPN connection between an UTM9 and a Security Gateway V8 (SG8). The configuration of the ssl-vpn uses an virtuell Pool Network.

Now, on systems behind the SG8, I can see the original IP-Adresses from systems behind the UTM9. Just the packets from the UTM9 itself (I use syslog via UDP 514 to a system behind the SG8) performs a NAT.

Is this a normal behavior?

Thanks and regards,
Rev

  • If you had to use a NAT rule, it's likely that you have a problem with #3 in Rulz.  Any luck with that?
