HTML5 VPN - RDP>>Win2k8 DNS Issue

Dear all,

I have a very strange issue when I connect to a Win2k8 box via HTML5 VPN / RDP. 
As soon as I am connected via RDP, DNS and/or network settings on the remote server seem to go nuts. Everything on the remote server works perfectly fine (e.g. local applications without internet connectivity), but after a few minutes I'm no longer able to access the internet or resolve external DNS.

The server has the following static settings:
IP 192.168.1.10
Subnet/Mask 192.168.1.0/24
Gateway 192.168.1.8 (Sophos UTM)
DNS 192.168.1.8 (Sophos UTM)
DNS (alt.) 8.8.8.8 (Google DNS)

If I minimize the browser window with the active HTML5 VPN/RDP session and wait for a minute or two, everything is back to normal and I can resolve external DNS again. [:S]

This just doesn't make any sense to me... [:(]
Any help/ideas/thoughts highly appreciated!
