9.2 Two Factor Auth/ OTP

Hi All,

I setup two factor auth on my home 9.2 build before testing it in the office.

So I turn it on for the user web portal, and it creates the code no problem on my phone.

Next I proceed to re-login.

The problem from here is that I can't login with my original password or the OTP, it just keeps saying its denied by policy even though my username is turned on, and so is the OTP

Any help in getting this running would be greatly appreciated....

    Hi Az,

    your new password for log in -> 'original password' + 'code from authenticator' (without space).

    found the issue, it sees that google authenticator is different to the sophos initiator (well in my case it is) 

    but yes thanks for the heads up for the username+OTP

    same here. tried also a reinstall of the firewall but no luck. back to google authenticator and it works. but there is an other issue with the google authenticator, you can't set any different time than 30s even if you regenerate the token and set 60s its counting 30secs.

    may sophos can fix that so we can use the own sophos app instead of the google one.
