Cisco VPN Client with Remote VPN Timeout After 1 hour

I don't a place to change the time value on the Advanced - Ipsec page.

It is turned on and clients are disconnected after 1 hour.

Version of UTM?  Version of Cisco client?  Is there a firewall in front of the UTM that might block pings?

UTM Version: 9.109-1

Cisco VPN Client Version: 5.0.07.0440

There is no firewall between the UTM and internet router.

If #1 in https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/51/t/22065 doesn't give you the answer, then I suspect the client PC has a firewall that blocks pings or is behind a firewall that does.

Having the same problem.

With my old router... OpenVPN connection worked for days at a time.

Thanks for re-opening this thread, as there's another possibility Thai didn't cover above.  IPsec Policies have an 'IPsec SA lifetime', and that's often an hour.  When that limit is reached, the UTM tries to re-establish the IPsec SA; if the other side doesn't have the same setting, the link will need to be reset.

But that's unrelated to OpenVPN which is the SSL VPN in the UTM.  What problem are you having?
