Cisco vpn client

1) can you use the "Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client" I have 3.1
2) I must be missing something in setup I turned it on and picked my local network vlans and turned on all debug, but when I use the client to connect it just says failed and in the IPsec vpn logs im getting nothing. Do I have to setup something in IPsec under remote access? and if so can you lead me to common settings for cisco client.  Any help is always appreciated.

Im running 9.107-33

    First, anyone on 9.107 or 9.108 should Up2Date ASAP to 9.109-1.

    I think that client is an SSL client and that it only works with Cisco gear.  What's motivating this attempt?

    thanks for reply, I have since updated, thanks for tip all was running fine and I saw post about 9.108 issues so I didn't want that.

    We have been merged with larger organization and they only want cisco, they left one of my internet lines and UTM manages that.  There vpn is very slow so I wanted to get the cisco vpn to talk to my utm on dedicated 35x35 to show them it is there internet line. I will put back on sopho ssl vpn.  But I wanted it to be more apples to apples.  Also I don't think they will want us to keep both vpns going.  I have since read an tip that if you use UDP the astaro vpn is even faster, what are your thoughts on that?

    another question is I open my ovpn file and see some old names and email address in there how do you change this info  like the tls-remote
