SSL VPN iOS7 with OpenVPN not working (no DNS push)

I recently contacted the sophos support because VPN under iOS7 with the recommended SSL VPN Client (OpenVPN) does not work anymore regarding dns resolution.

SOPHOS UTM pushes the DNS config to openVPN but due to a bug in OpenVPN (at least Sophos says it's a bug in the software) the dns servers are not set.

VPN connection itself works but no DNS, so only IP-based actions are successful.

My question: Anyone here with an alternative SSL VPN CLient under iOS7 that is working against a Sophos UTM? What are my alternatives? IPSec SSL with CISCO Client?
