Remote access VPN + Health checks

Hi,

Before allowing user to access network resources via VPN (SSL VPN) I would like to have a decent check such as:
1. Windows updates are present (specific updates).
2. Sophos AV is running (no infections found and that it is up2date).

If it is possible how can I achieve this ?

    Sorry for jumping in here, but I did not found much similar topics like this one here so far about this issue.
    I am in charge to replace our old FW & GW hardware with Sophos UTM.
    But I am searching for a solution the ensure that only users/devices can connect via SSL VPN to the UTM which passes some checks, like being in a domain or do have an AV solution of my choice running before! they connect.
    Is there already a way in doing so?
