Sophos UTM: LDAP Users cannot use L2TP over IPsec

Hi,

does anyone know why LDAP Users cannot Use L2TP over IPsec? We are authenticating all users with LDAP, and L2TP over IPsec would be a nice solution for iOS users.

Ben, only RADIUS and Local authentication are possible with L2TP/IPsec and PPTP.

Ok, but why? Is that a technical limitation for L2TP?

I don't know know of anything preventing the use of LDAP. I usually configure RADIUS on the same server as LDAP and have it refer to the LDAP database.
