SSL VPN connects to cannot ping 1 server

Hi,

We have a sophos UTM9 which serves as the SSL VPN. That all works fine but one server cannot be contacted through it. All the other servers and clients work fine.

I have tried to remove the server from DNS and add it in again so sophos pulls the details but it still doesn't work. I cannot ping it on IP but when accessing internally it all works fine.

It is on the same network range as the other servers.

Is there anything that could be causing this to fail?

Can you check if there is a Firewall enabled on the Server? Windows Firewall blocks Ping Traffic. Also check if the Gateway is the same as on the other Server/Devices.

Hi,

This is a linux box with no firewall features. Internally connectivity works fine i.e ICMP etc...

The details for the servers IPV4 (mask and gateway) connectivity are the same as other boxes on the network.
