IPSec problems after modem change

Last week my ISP sent me a new modem and I have installed it this weekend. It's a Cisco EPC3928AD that doesn't seem to allow bridge-mode (at least I cannot find it in the config pages). It starts to look like I have to put my UTM behind a NAT device.
So for now I have given my UTM a fixed IP-address and setup the modem to use that IP-addres as DMZ address.
After that only 1 of 3 IPSec connections came back up. The 2 not re-establishing are both UTM's using RSA authentication, the other one is a PSK site-to-site connection to a Sonicwall firewall device.
For now I was able to switch to SSL site-to-site for the other 2 connections, but I would rather switch back to IPSEC.

    First, a comment on using SSL VPNs - before downloading clients and configuration files, change the Protocol to UDP.  This makes the tunnels noticeably faster.

    Putting an IPsec endpoint behind a NATting router complicates things.  At this point in the evolution of IPsec on the UTM, you have two choices, either of which will require a change on the customers' UTMs...

    The more-elegant approach is to use any Authentication type other than "Local X509 Certificate" in the Remote Gateway definition (RSA is good) so that you can select 'VPN ID Type: IP Address' and then specify the local IP of your UTM in 'VPN ID: (Optional)'.

    Another solution would be to replace the Remote Gateway definition with one that's of type "Respond Only."

    First, a comment on using SSL VPNs - before downloading clients and configuration files, change the Protocol to UDP.  This makes the tunnels noticeably faster.

    Putting an IPsec endpoint behind a NATting router complicates things.  At this point in the evolution of IPsec on the UTM, you have two choices, either of which will require a change on the customers' UTMs...

    The more-elegant approach is to use any Authentication type other than "Local X509 Certificate" in the Remote Gateway definition (RSA is good) so that you can select 'VPN ID Type: IP Address' and then specify the local IP of your UTM in 'VPN ID: (Optional)'.

    Another solution would be to replace the Remote Gateway definition with one that's of type "Respond Only."
