VPN Client not connecting

I have a user that installed the Sophos VPN client from the utm web interface. She is able to launch, and it prompts for authentication. I can see in the FW logs that it authenticates successfully, however, it never connects.

The "stoplight" hangs on yellow, and after a while I see an error in the windows event viewer that there is a faulting module in msvcrt.dll. I ran sfc /scannow, replaced the dll, uninstalled and reinstalled the client, and have not been able to get the client to connect.

All other users are not experiencing issues, and this is a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Any help would be much appreciated.
