SSL VPN only gets brief connection

Hello everyone

I'm having some issues with multiple of our users and their SSL-VPN client.
The problem being: the VPN connection stays up for about 10seconds, then it terminates (but the icon in the task-tray is still set to green).

We've been having this issue for quite some time now. Sometimes weeks go by without it ever hapenning, then again we get weeks where our users complain about the problem every day...

What I've done sofar:
- set the network device order so that the Sophos Adapter is at the very top
- set the file permissions so that the running-user has full access to the sophos program folders (log, etc.)
- .bat script that flushes dns cache and sets the routes for astaro again, incase that old issue with the SSL Client not being able to set routes turns up again... [;)]
- always installed the newest version of the VPN-Client (also tried tinkering with the .ovpn config settings since they changed from v.2.1)

I usually run a ping -t command to a server in the network I'm trying to connect to, to see if the connection stays up or not. 
After the status symbol turns green, I get between 6-10 PING answers until the connection is dropped. (The status symbol of the vpn-client stays green though).
After I reconnect between 4-8 times, the connection mostly stays stable until manually disconnected. (but this can't be a workaround) 

Our Sophos partner mentioned that that problem should be resolved by version 9.0, and it seemed to have vanished, until we updated to some some 9.1XX version, where it re-appeared.

Informations to our Sophos environment:
- 2x UTM320 (as Master/Slave cluster) V.9.103-5
- 6x R.E.D. for div. offices around the country
- multiple users using SSL-VPN-Client V.2.3.0


I'm now hoping, that someone who had the same issue has found out a way go always get a stable connection.
