Finding out MAC Adress of PPTP CLient

Hi out there. 

I have to find out the MAC Adress of a client PC that was connected via PPTP this night. The Client had a IP from a VPN IP Pool.

Is there a way to find out the MAC Adress of this client?

    No, there isn't. MAC Adresses do not leave the local network, so you would have to look in the connected client's local network (which I assume you can't as you don't seem to know who was connecting [;)] ).

    Just a side note: PPTP is very insecure as it is easy to crack. You should consider switching to SSL or IPSec (L2TP) VPN!
