Limit client PPTP connections.

I know this is on the wish list, but how far away is it?
I need a facility to limit the number of simultaneous PPTP connections for a number of clients.

Ie: 
User Company1 - 10 max simultaneous connections.
User Company2 - 5 max simultaneous connections.

I really need this or one of our branches is going to use another vendors device to do this.

A facility to expire user accounts after X days would be nice too but the above is critical.

    Has anyone tried an experiment with a VPN Pool (PPTP) that's a /30? What happens after three or four sessions are established?  Do additional users get duplicate IPs?  If not, then even if additional users might be able to login, there would be no firewall rule allowing traffic.

    Doesn't really help, would need multiple VPN pools for each user.

    (We want to offer different logins a different number of max connections).

    A simple item on the user object would fix this (assuming backend supports it).  Something like "Max VPN connections"

    Resurrecting this thread.

    Sophos - We REALLY need the ability to limit maximum simultaneous connections per user account.

    ie: User account AcmeITCorp: Max simultaneous PPTP connections: 10

    Is there a chance we could get this feature soon?  It was hinted at here:
    VPN: SSL VPN profiles

    We have a cheap TP-Link Router which offers this off the shelf.  But don't wish to use it as its Chinese and we cannot manage it.
