HTML5 VPN Portal not working with Firefox 22

I am using Firefox 22.0, but I get the message
A modern web browser is required to use this feature. This includes (but not limited to) Internet Explorer 10 or later, Firefox 6.0 or later and Google Chrome.

Last time I checked, 22 was greater than 6.
I first had a customized userAgent string (though I hope that the portal is not so stupid to believe what is in the useragent string anyway) and just to make sure I reset it to default - but that did not help either. How can I pass this error message?

  • I did not have this message wih Firefox 22.0 (neither do I with 23.0). It must be a problem in your local browser.

    Private Setup:

    • XG: HPE DL20 Gen9 (Core i3-7300, 8GB RAM, 120GB SSD) | XG 18.0 (Home License) with: Web Protection, Site-to-Site-VPN (IPSec, RED-Tunnel), Remote Access (SSL, HTML5)
    • UTM: 2 vCPUs, 2GB RAM, 50GB vHDD, 2 vNICs on vServer (KVM) | UTM 9.7 (Home License) with: Email Protection, Webserver Protection, RED-Tunnel (server)
  • I just updated to Firefox 23 - no success. Restarted with extensions disabled - no success. So what could "a problem" be?
  • I have no idea what "a problem" could be. I can only tell you that I have several systems with current Firefox and none of them has the problem you decribe.
You might try it with Firefox Portable (just to check)...

  • Worked fine with FF 22 and now also does with 23.  Have you UP2Dated to 9.104or5?

    Cheers - Bob
