Alternative SSL-VPN-Clients? (NOT Sophos)

AFAIK, the Sophos SSL-VPN-Client has problems under Windows 7 to set routes reliably after sucessfully establishing the VPN-connection with the VPN-Gateway (tested with Sophos UTM9-Gateway in January or February). 
AFAIK, this problem does not occur if the user has admin-rights on his workstation.

I've seen this bug since (approx.) 2009, under Windows XP. Later, my colleagues (IT-department) suffered from this bug under Windows 7.

The version of the Sophos SSL-VPN-client from the beginning of this year caused blue screens on my WinXP-Laptop (no admin rights).

I'm giving up on this piece of software. Which other SSL-VPN-client would you recommend?

    haaa...securepoint, this was the client that we use as long as astaro hade no client with services for the  admin rights problem.

    securepoint is also a firewall

    Hi ,

    I know it is also a firewall , I tested it before I choose Astaro ( now Sophos ) long ago in 1999.
    The Sophos UTM IS THE BEST.
    But this client has a great GUI , and works even better then the OPENVPN GUI itself and with no problem.
    It is also developed by the Germans ( those guys know how to build things :-) ).
    For me it solved totally the GUI problems in my windows 8.1 x64.
    So I had to share it .

    i dont know why but for me the securepoint firewall look like the astaro.... hmmm they also have a html5 vpn... sorry off topic.

    I've tried installing Securepoint OpenVPN, and importing the .ovpn file. Everything looks good, but I get a TLS error when connecting. The Sophos client connects fine, and I would use it, except it doesn't remember my name and password. Any other suggestions?

    In the .ovpn you can append a line like:

    auth-user-pass filename.txt

    In the filename.txt file you enter 2 lines, the first line is your logon name, the second your password.
    Make sure to protect this file since it has your plain-text password in it. I advise you to use Microsoft's EFS to encrypt the file so only you can open/use it.

    There might be other OpenVPN applications that have better support for saving credentials.
