unable to install tun/tap driver exit code 2 windows 7 home premium.

Hi there, 

A one of our clients can not install the sophos vpn client cause the tap driver wont install. I tried to install OpenVPN but it has the same error. 

I tried to run the installer as admin and disabeld UAC but with no result.

Can anyone help me because the only "solution" i found is to repair windows 7.[:S]

    I haven't seen this, Chizz.  Maybe there's a partial install that's mucking things up.  Be sure you have eliminated any trace of the earlier installation, and try again.  Any luck?

    Hi Balfson,

    Ive looked a bit further and the only thing I could find is a complete reinstall/repair of windows. Ive told one of our costumers to try that but I haven't got any reponse yet. I will keep you posted if I find something.[:D]

    Edit: forgot to mention.. Its a Windows 7 Home edition SP1 and we use the 9.1 UTM.
