SSL client and UTM version

Is there any way to see from which UTM version a SSL VPN Client is downloaded from?

    Not really.  They are, usually, backward- and forward-compatible.  What is the stimulus for the question?

    I asked this question because when I used the client version downloaded from the 9.004UTM  on our 9.003 and it didn't work the client version downloaded from our 9.003 UTM also didn't work the other way around.
    Its was on a Windows 8 VM in HyperV for testing btw. 

    So the reason I asked this because some of our costumers use this software and we wanted to know for troubleshooting. Yes its for the client side GMF [:)]

    Just had both versions tested on a different windows 8 test machine and this time both versions worked just like you said BALson. I was researching this problem because some of our costumers have trouble booting up when they installed de Shopos software on their windows 8 machine. We didn't have the chance to set up a teamviewer session to research the problem on the costumers machine, but it works just fine on our test machines.

    Do you have any knowledge on this problem maybe it happened before?

    We managed to reproduce the problem, we tried to install shopos vpn client on windows 8 with mcafee total protection. The installation wont finish and when you try to reboot it fails and you need to do a system restore. I will try to find out which anti-virus our costumers use and try to install it with another anti-virus.

    I got the same issue here on Win 8 Ent x64 with Mcafee Virusscan Enterprise 8.0 2013.01.14
