openVPN Can't remote connect after setting of new public IP

Good day,
I m using Astaro with openVPN for my users at work. Users authenticate against Active Directory. Last week we got a new public IP, which I immediately in the Interfaces (as WAN).
However, after login into the user's portal, and downloading the new certificates, it is no possible to connect.
I have tried to uninstall the client, and reinstall it again with the whole new package, and still no game.
Do I need to do something else with the openVPN configuration, now that I got a new public IP?
Just to clarify, the IP is the only thing that has been changed within the organization. Local names, DNS, etc etc remain the same.
Thanks for any help,
Mariano

  • Hi Volker,
Thanks for your answer. I have checked that, yes, and it still doesn't work. I have directly typed our public IP as the hostname. Before I got the new IP, the old one used to be also there.
    Regards,
    Mariano
