HTML5 VPN Portal over slow link

Hi All,

New to the forum so bare with me if this question has been asked.

I've setup the HTML5 VPN portal and configured the available apps (RDP/HTTPS Web Page), however, the uplink from the external connection is quite slow (restriction on the link rather than the system).

I wondered if there was anyway to configure the portal to optimise for slower connections? Can connect fine but due to the slow connection the applications are at times too slow to work with?

Hi, KT, and welcome to the User BB!

There's always going to be a bit of overhead in the VPN. If this is just for your personal use, try instead with a DNAT. Beyond that, it sounds like a good excuse t upgrade the connection speed! [;)]

HA! I wish....there's **gger all in the likes of a decent connection where I am unfortunately. I'd take any decent upgrade if I could [:)]
