SSL Client

I am running 8.307 on clustered 425.

The SSL client connects and I get an IP address. but i cannot connect to anything on my office when I am remote.

If I uninstall the client and reinstall it connects and I am able to remote into the servers in the office.

If I go to connect again using the client i have to uninstall and reinstall.

Any thoughts?

With v8 or earlier, on win Vista or greater, the client needs to be run as admin in order to write routes to the OS. See Astaro Security Gateway: Windows User Permissions Required for SSL VPN Client and Installing Astaro SSL VPN client under Windows 7 without full administrative user rights. The reason why it works immediately after install is that it is running with administrative UAC credentials that were invoked during install. Try running the client by right clicking and choose Run as administrator. The SSL VPN client from v9 alleviates this situation.

Scott nailed it; the problem the OP is describing can be solved by forcing the openvpn-gui.exe file in the SSL VPN Binaries folder to run as local administrator.
