Import IPSEC?

We have about 700 VPN connections that we need to move from existing firewall into Astaro UTM.
We have the VPN info within Excel can we import this into UTM by and command line command or tools?

    Hello, Jarle,

    That is a great question.  Please ask your reseller to submit a request to Sophos/Astaro as they would be the only ones that could do this.  Changes made by the end user at the command line can void your support agreement.

    If they are able to do this for you, please report that back here.

    I doubt they have a script that can do this from the command line... I've written some scripts dealing with IP assignments in ranges (not needed anymore now that we can define IP ranges in UMT9) -- needed this to make a sale in a larger enterprise environment a year or two ago (we're a reseller / var).  I was left up to my own devices to make it happen (and I did).

    Converting those VPN configurations will likely be a manual affair anyway, as there are some commands in some platforms that have no equivalent in Sophos UTM (Cisco is a great example of this -- converted 40 VPNs for a new customer the other day from a newish ASA to UTM 9... oh what fun!).  If you don't want to deal with it, your best bet is to get a reseller that's experienced in doing these kinds of conversions and having them handle it for you.
