site to site with subnets

We have configured site to site vpn and are able to ping from the client site to the host site workstations *where DNS server resides* however we are unable to ping from the host site to the client site. All ICMP settings are checked on host and client & definitions for remote networks have been declared on both firewalls.

Any suggestions?

    Where are you pinging from? UTM box itself or from a desktop behind the client? There is a bug where you cannot ping the other side from the utm box.

    Please remember always to state your precise version when posting an issue - 9.004-33?

    If these are new UTMs, are you sure that devices behind them have had their default gateway changed to the UTM?

    Do you see anything related to this in the Firewall or Intrusion Prevention logs?
