HTML5 VPN telnet/ssh keyboard issue

This is a minor issue, but I thought I would post it to see if anybody else has this problem.

I setup an HTML5 VPN telnet/ssh connection.  The connection is working fine.  I say telnet/ssh because I have the same problem on both types of connections.  The problem is that the minus key on the main keyboard doesn't work, but the minus key on the numeric keypad does.

    I don't have this problem. I'm using a German keyboard and even the German umlauts ÄÖÜ are working. (ssh-connection to SLES11 SP1 and SP2 servers; [Suse Linux Enterprise Server]) Initially, I had the problem that I could not type the pipe-symbol. But that problem disappeared. I don't have an explanation why it's working now.

    (Sophos UTM 9.004-33 by the way)

    Just to close out this post, the problem has gone away.  Perhaps a recent update fixed it.
