Sophos SSL VPN client and Windows 8

Hello. i installed the client to a windows 8 system but it doesn't seem to work. when i click connect, the window to enter username+password never appears. instead, after a few seconds i get the message "connection to ***xx has failed"
Does the client work with windows 8?

    Here is the Windows 8 Event Error:

    The description for Event ID 0 from source openvpnserv cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

    tested with Win8 x64 / UTM 9:

    i can confirm that 9.003 doesnt work (it doesnt even ask for username & password when connection starts)

    9.004 problem is fixed after re-downloading & installing SSL Client again
