Hi
I have setup a lot of VPNs with different customers and every now and then, we clash with the networks at both ends.
I.e. both use 10.0.0.0 so routing across becomes a pain.
For this reason, the customer has said they want to use public addressing along with NAT.
I.e. They want to me to provide a public IP address for our internal host and NAT accordingly at our end to the actual internal host.
But....i dont know if this is possible on an Astaro. I suspect it is, as the virtual ip on an SSL connection works in a similar way.
So....to explain;
My customers local network is 10.0.0.1 and will initiate a connection to my host 62.189.82.210. I think they will apply src nat so there 10.0.0.1 is presented as their own public ip 72.189.210.1.
The vpn would allow the traffic across but when hitting my Astaro, I want to nat the target so it would hit my actual host 10.240.1.1.
Traffic has to flow in both directions.
Can anyone shed some light or give me the proper terminology of what im trying to do so i can delve deeper into the issue!
Thanks for ANY help.
