Hi,
Is it possible to run astaro ssl vpn under user rights on windows 7 which is joined to domain with user which is in these groups: user, domain users, Network Configuration Operators ?
Same question, but in this case Windows 7 is in workgroup, so no domain.
What i know, Microsoft changed some group rights, in WinXP if user was in network configuration operators group, it has rights to add routes, this changed with Windows 7, looks like now you can add route via script/cmd with administrative rights, so to get astaro ssl vpn work you should give user administrative rights, its unacceptable!!!
Of course i searched all forums, read manuals, but nothing works. I even gave users full access to program files/astaro folder and followed some folder posts to add some variables in cfg files, but nothing helps, only administrative rights to user.
Maybe some astaro super guru or support guy or just smart and helpful man can write down step by step instruction, OR SOPHOS ENGINEERS how to achieve this goal? I can even accept if working solution will need to run ssl vpn as service...
p.s
And would be nice from new astaro comany owners - sophos, to make free, working, mac ssl vpn client which will be compatible with 2-3 latest Mac OS versions???
