Differnet Pre-Shared-Key Settings for IP-Sec

Hi,

i have a big problem with the configured PRESHARED Key and the IP-Sec Connection:

I have two configured connections in IP-Sec

User_1 VPN
PSK and XAUTH

User_2 VPN
PSK and XAUTH

Each User has a different Preshared-Key!

Account of User_1 is active! When i now try to activate the account of User_2 with the other Preshared key, the Sophos tells me:

Preshared Key doesn`t match the Connection of "User_1"

What is wrong here?

On the 'Advanced' tab, you must select 'Enable probing of preshared keys'.

Having said that, PSKs are the weakest form of authentication. It's very easy to configure with certificates - and that would be "best practice."

Thanks Bob,

it would be the best thing and i configure with certificates with a few bought IP-Sec Clients!

But with Shrew, i only did find a configuration with PSK`s

or is there another way to configure the shrew client with the astaro?
