Cisco VPN for iOS without Password

On my five-year-old iPhone 3g (yes, I was waiting for the iPhone 5, and my wife already knows what I need for my birthday next month [;)]), my VPN connections have stored passwords, and I don't see the iOS window you're talking about.

Working on iOS6 it depends on how you setup the VPN.  The configuration profile my phone got from the User Portal does not offer me the option to save my password, but has the Connect On Demand option.   When I configure the VPN client by hand there is the option to save the password, but no option to connect on demand.

Same for me on iOS 6 iphone
When i set VPN with on demand option no save pwd option.

Any help?

i am sitting here with an iOS-Device and the Cisco VPN-Client Configuration!
When the iOS-Device tries to connect, an identification window pops up and asks for the passsword of the user....

is there any way to connect automatically WITHOUT the password prompt?

Yes there is.

Here is my short Tutorial.

Go to Setting's then tap VPN choose the IPsec. Then tap the blue circle with Right arrow inside the circle. You'll see the CISCO Logo

Account

Password

Use Certificate

Certificate

In the password Field that is blank and say's Ask Every Time. From there type the password of your VPN account and Voila you can now Connect Without a Password. [:)] Cheers
