I created a feature request already used the search but was not able to find a solution.
This is the text from the feature request :
Problem :
You have a customer who uses Linux as a VPN endpoint and asks to use OpenVPN for a side2side connection.
He also asks to use port UDP/1394 as communication port.
But you already use 1194 for Remote Access (dialin) .
Solution :
Make OpenVPN multi-instance capable.
With the ability to select a different port from your remote-access configuration.
Also with different means of authentication.
Result :
You can add as many instances as you like for side2side OpenVPN connections.
Real-World scenario :
A customer uses Astaro in his main office and wants to use a Linksys with OpenWRT in his branch office for several reasons. In front of the Linksys is another router which doesn't permit IPSec traffic.
So OpenVPN would be a great alternative.
But OpenVPN on the OpenWRT doesn't allow username and password for user authentication stored in a file.
Then I found a similar feature request, where something was stated about creating another set of config files.
I didn't find the BulletinBoard article about it so maybe someone here has the answer.
Would be great !
Best regards
Marcus
