Internet Explorer and HTML5 VPN-portal

When I use IE8 or IE9 and the HTML5 VPN-portal to RDP a server I get the message "Error - A modern web browser is required to use this feature. This includes (but not limited to) Internet Explorer 10 or later, Firefox 6.0 or later and Google Chrome."

What can be done to solve this? IE10 is not officially released yet and IE9 is officially the most recent version.

Hello,

I use Firefox 14 to connect to the HTML5 VPN portal. With this browser it works good. Older versions of Firefox won't work (I tried with 12).

Hi Expert,

I use Chrome, works fine as well, much faster than IE... But we want to use this HTML5 - VPN for external suppliers when they have to login to one of our servers. And they often use only IE...

I'm not happy with IE anymore, IE9 has many issues with websites, ASG/UTM management, but unfortunately many companies/users still use the product...

What can be done to solve this?
Get MS to add support for more of the HTML5 feature set to IE9 (The HTML5 test - How well does your browser support HTML5?). MS is taking a very slow and measured approached to adding support for HTML5. Not surprising considering that HTML5 still won't be ratified as a standard for several years.
