I'm working on setting up remote access for my laptop and a few other devices that I use. I want each of them to function as if they were connected directly to the network at home. Thus there all there traffic is passed through the VPN tunnel. I also want the firewall rules to apply to the remote access clients. This is where I'm stuck. The firewall rules are for my Internal Network. Now the SSL VPN and L2TP Over IPSEC have there own DHCP addresses pools. If I understand correctly these firewall rules will not apply to those devices that are accessing the network via the VPN. How can I make the firewall rules that are in effect for Internal Devices also effective on VPN connected devices? Thanks in advance!
