SSL VPN - DNS issue

Hi Everyone,

I am having problem with SSL VPN on Astaro.  My exchange runs on internal IP 10.0.0.243.  After connecting VPN I can ping 10.0.0.243 but ping to internal domain name exchange.myserver.com ends at external IP address of something.  

Strage thing is after reinstalling VPN and restarting couple of times it works - would you know why?  Everything else seems OK except below.

    This happens when your providers DNS does not work correct and redirects you to an advertisement address/page if you request an unknown address.

    German Telekom says "Navigationshilfe" to this crap.

    Check your providers homepage, he should offer a way to switch the DNS server to correct answers

    Forgot to add one more thing, When I connect to my internet service provider in my home they give me 10.x.x.x IP address

    @papa_ what do you mean by providers DNS?  my ISP's DNS or my office's DNS server?

    ugh...your provider is natting your network on their end..ick ick cik.  Ask them for a static internet ip(it'sll cost extra).  Right now you effectively a NAT router in front of your astaro so you can send till your heart's content but you aren't going to get anything back as 10.x addresses are not publicly routable.  AS ipv4 addresses get scarce and with the glacial adoption of ipv6 expect to see more of this.
