Site-To-Site SSL vs IPSec

Had to make many network changes as of late (switching ISPs, implementing new server, etc...). During the changes some of our site to site IPSec Vpn definitions were lost. I could spend about a day getting these restored, but for the time being setup SSL Vpns between end points. 

Is there any advantage or quality of service that anyone has noticed?

We use a PRI phone system between all locations and some users are saying that voice quality has been reduced since the switch to the SSL Vpn.

Any thought?

We are running a mix of Astaro version 7.511 and 8.300.
