New ipad vpn

Hi - I have followed every guide I can find on the support site and am unable to correctly set-up a new iPad for a VPN connection (failing miserably). The user has been using SSL on a laptop which has been working flawlessly. I listed the same user on the Cisco VPN setup and enabled the IOS tab. I just can't get it to work on the Cisco VPN setup, which is what the Astaro docs say to use. I did regenerate Certs and downloaded to the iPad. If anyone has a "punch-list" of things I should check, it would be greatly appreciated. ASG120 8.302

It should just work after you load from a browser. Sometimes IPsec clients appear to be a source of UDP Floods and so are blocked, so you might check the Intrusion Prevention log first. If not, I bet the IPsec log would show something, so try opening the Live Log just before a connection attempt.

Do you get the username/password dialog on the iPad when connecting? If so, you're not alone with the problem. We're currently working on resolving the IPsec issues introduced with iOS 5.1.

Until then could you please post the DNS/WINS, domain name and local network settings you configured. It might help to spot a pattern and/or reproduce the issue in the lab.
