Does ASG support connecting to VPN service?

I was recently evaluating third party VPN services for the purpose of IP hiding and identity protection. There are plenty of VPN services out there but can ASG connect to such services? What am I looking for in such a service?

Hi, if the provider supports IPSec, then you should be able to create a site-to-site VPN with Astaro.

I am testing with this service which supports L2TP/IPSec:

But the way they ask to connect is not supported by ASG. They have a username/password combination to allow connectivity. ASG does not have username/password in their IPSec setup. Am I missing something or is ASG incapable of making such connection?
