Problem with Cisco VPN and intermediate certificate

hello,

we are using a Thawte Wildcard-Certificate, it was necessary to install two intermediate certificate from Thawte, after that, the certificate works without problems for the web-admin website, and also for virtual webservers.

But we cannot choose this certificate for the Cisco VPN Client, this error message appears ( in german ) :

"Das Zertifikat der Zertifizierungsstelle, welche das '*.our-domain.de-Zertifikat ausgegeben hat, wird benötigt. "

It tells me, that i must install the CA-certificate, but i install the thawte root-ca and also both intermediate CA.

What can i do ?

Firmware version is 8.300

    Exactly when do you see this message?  When trying to select in the 'Server certificate' field?  Is there a reason to use the Thawte cert instead of one generated in the Astaro?

    I think the Cisco method won't work if the cert you use doesn't have a 'VPN ID' with a FQDN that resolves to the public IP of your Astaro.
