64bit Site-to-Site IPSec Not compatible with 32bit versions

Hi,

Problematic version: All 64bit v8
Sympthom: Green on Site-to-Site IPsec connection, but no data goes trough.
Solution: Reinstall with 32bit version of v8.

I have 3 sites. Two require 32bit. The has 64bit compatible hardware.

I installed 8.201 64bit and belived all was ok. (Did only check for green lights, and did not ping.....) After some time I saw there was an error after upgrading to 8.300. [:S] I tought the upgrade had given the error. Reinstalled back to 8.202 64bit => dig not work. [:@] Also tried _all_ other v8 .iso's I could find.... 

I must have been trough the v8 install 3-4 times by the time I figured it was time to test the 32bit version... [:$] and it works directly. [H]

So .. I guess there is a bug between the IPSec 32bit solution and 64bit solution..... or something else..

    I realize that the unit no longer has any log files, but it would be interesting to look at a few minutes of the IPsec log from one of the devices that didn't connect correctly, starting with when the connection attempt started.

    I have customers that run mixed environments with site to site that work just fine... not doubting what you saw, but probably related to some obscure bug --- could you post some details regarding the IPSEC setup you were using?
