SSL Remote Access with fixed IP address

Hello everyone,

I would like to set a specific ip address per SSL remote access user. Is it possible?

Currently, I use a Pool Network like a DHCP server and the users receive a difertent IP addresses each connection.

The static remote access IP can only be used for remote access through PPTP, L2TP, and IPsec. It cannot be used, however, for remote access through SSL.

3. Use static remote access IP

Use Static Remote Access IP (optional): Select if you want to assign a static IP address for a user gaining remote access instead of assigning a dynamic IP address from an IP address pool. For IPsec users behind a NAT router, for example, it is mandatory to use a static remote access IP address.

Paulo, what reason do you have for wanting to have the same IP each time?

I would like this option so we can monitor traffic by user over the vpn. with constant connections to the same IP through out the day it is difficult to monitor over a period (7 or 30 days) what each user had used. Sadly, we use SSL for our connections.

@lbiw: There is already a feature request for this. You can add points at RemoteAccess: Static IP for SSL-VPN.
