Hello,

To all VPN Masters and Expert, I badly need your advise and assistance.

Our VPN was working fine a week ago until our ISP made an update( i guess it was a packet filtering). I am really not sure about the right term about it but i guess it was.

The problem goes this way
Yes We can connect to the VPN under our ISP, however the data received is too small( like maximum of 5kbps). In short, yes there is an internet connection but we can not browse, chat, do skype, yahoo messenger and any internet related activities even though we are connected.

We have also tried different remote and local ports but the outcome is still the same. We are using OpenVPN and I could post my client and server config here if you dont mind.

Are there any way how to solve this issue?
Are there anything that I need to change in my ip tables?
Should I change the routing on ip tables?

Ive tried to message Sir Bob and others about this but i guess they are still busy..

I hope you will not discriminate my concern since I am not that good in VPN.

I am looking forward for your positive response regarding this matter.

    If you don't have different equipment now in your location, my guess is that you need to reduce the MTU of the WAN interface. 

    Did that help?  If not, try looking at the traffic on the external interface with tcpdump from the Astaro command line.

    Hi Wilb,

    As you PN'd me your problem is still pending. It is more effective if we try to solve it here on the board because more guy's are reading here and can add ideas.

    So first of all please describe what exactly has been changed (ISP at headquater or at the remote site?). 
    Also the version of astaro and the version of the vpn client is interresting. What operating system is used as client?
