They shouldn't. I normally configure just L2TP over IPsec, but in the last few months, I had to add a new customer's SSL configuration file to my SSL VPN configuration. I last had installed it in 7.4, I think. I was unsuccessful in connecting to their VPN until I completely re-installed the software from his V8.103 via their User Portal. After I finished, I confirmed that the new client continued to work with our V7.5 SSL VPN.
So, try re-installing the complete package from the User Portal - did that resolve your issue?
