VPN Problems

Hi all,

Have been having a problem getting my SSL VPN connection to work, I am able to connect via SSL VPN to astaro however I am unable to connect to any hosts on the network. I am unable to ping anything on the network.

I have managed to get VPN to work via PPTP however I can only connect to hosts via IP addresses. I am unable to resolve host names over VPN when connecting through PPTP.

Any help greatly appreciated

    Hi,

    1. You need to setup packetfilter rules for the VPN (or use the 'auto packetfilter' setting)

    2. You need to setup a Masqerading (NAT) rule for the VPN Pool(s)

    3. You need to allow the VPN Pool(s) in the DNS settings.
