Have to set up routing for PPTP VPN clients?

I have been able to connect to my internal home network via PPTP, however I have only been able to ping internal hosts. When I try to SSH or RDP to them (via IP) I am unable to connect. Strangely, I am able to https to the ASG box which has WebAdmin restricted to the internal network and the PPTP VPN IP Pool. Do I have to manually set up static routes between the PPTP VPN IP pool and my internal network, or am I doing something stoopid? Again, I looked through the VPN KB area and the Admin Guide and wasn't able to find anything to clear this up for me. [:S]

  • You need to make Firewall rules that the pptp vpn pool is able to connect to the internal network. Something like ppt pool -any- internal network.

There is no need for a static route, this route is set by the asg automaticly.
