SSL VPN from MAC

What is the current best practice for connecting a MAC to the network over SSL VPN? I have an ASG220 running 7.511. I saw an older article that said you needed Viscosity, but it was marked "outdated". When I look at the contents of the download packages from the user portal they look the same except the Windows archive has a setup.exe and the Linux/Mac does not. I know nothing about MACs, so some detail would be helpful.

I use Viscosity and it was worth the $9 to me. Historically tunnelblick has had some stability issues but it is free.
