VPN from same subnets

Hi Guys,

I have a Astaro running on a 192.168.0.X network (internal) and it is setup with PPTP etc. Some of our users VPN from home networks that are also 192.168.0.X thus they are unable to get to any resources on the tunnel. I tried setting up a IP pool on the Astaro that is different (10.242.1.x) and setting up packet filter rule to 192.168.0.X but it still doesn't work.

Is there any way to make this work without having to change IP on the production network or changing the IP network on the users side?

Hi, darvesh88, and welcome to the User BB!

The long-term easiest solution is to change your business network to a subnet in 172.16.0.0/12 and leave 192.168.0.0/16 for home users and internet cafes. Without that, you'll have to create "phantom" addresses and NAT rules as described in Tunnel between two ASGs having the same LAN network range .
