VPN-Client: v7 upgrade to v8

Hi, 

we would like to upgrade to v8, finally... can we still use the v7-astasro client to connect or is a newer version needed for this? (asg 220)

    Just to avoid any confusion about the log info saying open_vpn v2.1...
    In the the installed programs list in Windows I see Astaro 1.7 ... so, now it should be double safe since 1.7 works as mentioned above.
