VPN-Client: v7 upgrade to v8

Hi, 

we would like to upgrade to v8, finally... can we still use the v7-astasro client to connect or is a newer version needed for this? (asg 220)

    You're making an assumption that he's coming from a later client version, but he only says v7.  He could conceivably only be on 1.6 or 1.5.  I would rather err on the side of caution than potentially put him in a position where things may not work quite right.
