L2TP/IPSEC PSK on Android 3.0 using MD5

Hello all,

I have L2TP/IPSEC PSK set up on my Astaro v8 box and I have no problem connecting to it via my laptop or iPhone. I recently purchased an Android 3.0 tablet and tried setting up my VPN connection on it, but it will not connect.

I enabled debugging in the logs and noticed that when connecting with my laptop/iPhone, the password is sent using MS-CHAP v2, where Android uses MD5 to send it. There are no option on the tablet to change the authentication method. 

Anyone have any ideas on how I could get it working?

    Thanks Barry, those hit the spot. Tested it on my iphone and tablet and both are able to connect now. I hope Astaro comes out with a patch to allow us to control those setting from the WebUI. I very rarely make modifications once ASG is setup, but all it takes in one reload to lose that configuration.
